First Aid

First Aid & Immunization

A full time nurse will be available at all times to promptly administer appropriate first aid following a medical situation. The first aid box is easily accessible to adults and is kept out of reach of children. The contents of the box are checked on a termly basis.

At the time of each child's admission to the setting, parents written permission will be sought to allow staff to take their child to the nearest emergency unit to be examined, treated or admitted as necessary on the understanding that parents have been informed and are on their way to the hospital.

The purpose of immunization is to prepare our body to fight against diseases in case we come into contact with them. There are several immunizations that your child should have undertaken at various stages.

Immunization records of the child is required to be submitted at the time of registration.

Security

Security

Security at our preschool is of the utmost importance and something we constantly update and monitor.

The nursery premises are safe and secure and alongside CCTV cameras that operate 24 hours a day we have numerous policies and procedures in place relating to the collection and departure of children from the property as well as for visitors entering the premises. The nursery operates a buzzer service to enter the premises safely.

All of these are in place to ensure that the safety and well-being of all children within our nursery remain of paramount importance at all times and we ask that all parents work in partnership with us in supporting and implementing these procedures.
